Membership and Journal Access

I renewed my HRS Membership this year, mainly for the Heart Rhythm Journal subscription. Access to the journal was immediate, which was a plus. The online platform for the journal is mostly good, easy to navigate. I did find a few older articles took a bit longer to load sometimes, but nothing major. Overall, it's a good resource for staying current, and the member discount on other courses helps justify the cost. Delivery of the physical journal was timely.

Good value with early bird

I registered for the HRS Annual Scientific Sessions during the early bird period. Saved a good amount, I think it was $300 off the regular price. For the content and CME credits, it felt like a solid investment. Didn't have to fuss with any codes, the discount applied automatically which was nice. Worth it.

Easy access to learning

I got the Heart Rhythm On Demand after the conference. It was super easy to get set up and start watching the sessions I missed. The video quality was good, and I could pause and come back to it whenever. Just clicked a few buttons and boom, all the content was there. Made catching up simple.

I'm a student, do they have any discounts for Heart Rhythm On Demand? It's a bit pricey for my budget.

M Mike Whitfield 1 month ago
I believe they do! There's usually a student rate for On Demand content. You should check their registration page for specifics.

Yeah, definitely look into the student rate. They're usually pretty good about supporting students, so I'd be surprised if there wasn't one.

Anyone know if they offer group discounts for hospital teams signing up for something like the Board Review Course?

R Renee Lindqvist 2 months ago
I've heard of group discounts for the annual sessions, so it's possible for other courses too. It's worth asking their registration team.

Yeah, they often have group rates for institutions. You'd probably need to contact them directly about getting that set up for a team.

Can I transfer my registration if something comes up and I can't make it to the annual sessions?

B Ben Carter 2 months ago
I think you can, but there might be a fee. You'd have to look at their cancellation policy on the website.

You might be able to, but usually, there's a deadline and sometimes a transfer fee. It's not as simple as just swapping names.

How long do you usually get access to the Heart Rhythm On Demand stuff after you buy it?

D David J. 2 months ago
I think it's usually a full year from when you buy it. Gives you plenty of time to go through everything.

Last time I bought an On Demand package, I had access for 12 months. Pretty standard for these kinds of things.

Hey guys, thinking about signing up for the annual sessions. Is there usually an early bird rate, and how much can you save?

T Tara 1 month ago
Yeah, totally. They pretty much always have early bird pricing. I think I saved a couple hundred bucks last year by registering early.

It's a good chunk, usually like $100-400 off depending on your membership status and how early you jump on it. Keep an eye out for those dates.
